Your Worklists and Dashboard
What each tab shows on your seller dashboard, and what your customers see on their storefront dashboard.

How the dashboard is organized

The dashboard is built around one idea: surface the work that needs attention, and tuck completed or stalled work out of the main flow.

You and your customers both see a tabbed dashboard, but the tab set is tuned to what each side needs to do:

  • You (the seller) see three tabs: Action Required, Finalized Orders, and Not Purchased.
  • Your customers (the buyer) see three tabs on their storefront: Quotes and Pending, My Orders, and Not Purchased.

The BUILD A QUOTE button stays in the top left no matter which tab is active, so a new quote is always one click away.

What replaced the old My Estimates Table

If you used the previous layout, you may know this list as My Quotes or My Estimates Table. After this update, that list is now the Action Required worklist on the new dashboard. Same work, new home.

Your seller dashboard

Action Required

This tab is your daily to-do list. The number next to the tab name is a live count of open items. Inside the tab, rows are grouped into worklists by status:

  • Action Required. A buyer-initiated quote hit a boundary your system could not resolve on its own. Review and decide the next step.
  • Order Placed. Orders that have been placed and are awaiting your acknowledgement.

Each worklist has its own grid. Columns include ID, Order Status, Customer, Order Placed, Owner, and Location. The Order Placed worklist also shows Payment Status and Purchased From.

Pro-tip. Sort by Order Placed to work the oldest items first. Filter by Customer if you want to focus on a single account.

Finalized Orders

This tab holds orders with status:

  • Order Acknowledged. The order is acknowledged and moving through fulfillment.

Finalized work lives one click away, not on the main worklist. This separation is intentional. Closed work does not need your attention every day, so it should not compete for screen space with the to-do list.

Not Purchased

This tab holds quotes and orders that did not turn into a purchase. Rows are grouped by status:

  • Quoted. You built a quote for your customer, or your customer built their own quote from your ecommerce store, and they have not purchased yet.
  • Order Cancelled. An order that was placed and then cancelled.
  • Declined to Purchase. Your customer reviewed the quote and chose not to buy.
  • Quote Expired. The quote passed its expiration date without being purchased.

Use this tab to follow up on open quotes or to clean up drafts you no longer need.

What your customer sees on the storefront

Your customers log into their storefront subdomain and land on a three-tab dashboard.

Quotes and Pending

This is where your customer reviews quotes you have built for them and any items still awaiting action. Rows are grouped by status:

  • View Quote. A quote is ready for your customer to review.
  • Order Placed. Your customer has placed the order and is waiting on acknowledgement from your side.
  • Action Required. Something on the quote needs your customer to step in before it can move forward.

My Orders

This is where your customer tracks orders they have placed. Rows are grouped by status:

  • Order Acknowledged. The order is acknowledged and moving through fulfillment.
  • Order Canceled. The order was placed and then cancelled.

Not Purchased

This is where your customer reviews quotes that did not become orders. Rows are grouped by status:

  • Declined to Purchase. Your customer reviewed the quote and chose not to buy.
  • Quote Expired. The quote passed its expiration date without being purchased.

Pro-tip. If a customer asks where to find a finished order or a closed quote, point them at My Orders or Not Purchased. The home page only surfaces open work.

Troubleshooting

The tab count looks off compared to what is in the grid. Click the refresh icon in the top right of the grid. The tab badge and the grid are both pulled on page load, so the badge can lag if you have had the page open for a while.

A quote I expected to see is not in any tab. Check whether the quote belongs to a different location in the 'Select from your locations' field. Worklists filter by the location you are viewing.

A customer is asking why their quote disappeared. If the quote was not purchased before its expiration date, it now lives under their 'Not Purchased' tab with the status 'Expired'.

I cannot find My Quotes or My Estimates Table anywhere. That list has moved. It is now the 'Action Required' worklist on your seller dashboard.
